Pinkunoizu means pink noise in Japanese and it's a pretty good descriptions for the Copenhagen-based band's sound. With obvious comparisons to Animal Collective, Pinkunoizu blend lo-fi experimental and crunching guitars with 60s Asian pop and 21st century electro.
They will also be releasing a debut album in 2012 through their new label, Full Time Hobby, as well as playing at The Windmill, Brixton on the 19th September and at Madame JoJos, London on the 20th September 2011.
The band members have got some pretty cool Scandinavian names too, with Jaleh Negari on drums, Jeppe Brix on guitars, Andreas Pallisgaard (guitars and vocals) and Jakob Falgren on guitars, keys and foot pedal bass.
