Mr Solo, Buffalo Bar gig review

Mr Solo, Buffalo Bar gig
Mr Solo, AKA The Vessel from David Devant and His Spirit Wife, has been

travelling around doing his own gigs for a while now, but if his latest show at The Buffalo Bar in Islington is anything to go by, he's

definitely getting better the more he plays.

The gig was always going to be a bit rough around the edges, but the

addition of more live music to Mr Solo gigs makes his songs stand out a

lot better than when he's on his tod. Although the final track of the night, Kiss It Better, was sang alone on stage and it was one of the best songs in the set, just to contradict everything.

Entertainment news

Rob from the Voluntary Butler Scheme put in some good drums, especially on the rolling shake of Blackberries and the slide guitar saxamaphone double up on Moth to the Flame is nothing short of brilliant. There was some mental maracas from Jimmy Knickers and a flash of ukulele freak out from Mr Solo himself.

If you're feeling a bit smashed up with life and u can't get much of a

grip on things, go to a Mr Solo show, it'll cheer you up a treat.

Gig review: 3.7/5
