Ebony Road (2011)

Ebony Road
To do anything better than half witted at the age of 17  is impressive, but to star in a film you’ve written and directed, and for it to look good is something else all together. In Ebony Road, Maia Krall Fry has done just that with the support of BAFTA winner Kate Cheeseman. When I was 17 I was scamming around council estates in and around Stoke-On-Trent just before my career in a garlic bread factory took off, so...

Ebony Road follows two homeless sisters as they struggle for survival on the streets of London. Things turn from bad to worse when Emmie (Maia Krall Fry) is forced to get involved in prostitution following the introduction of Keith, the mysterious stranger that befriends her younger sister Isobel.

The dramatic thriller will be released in February 2011, and if the trailer is anything to go by, it looks as though Ebony Road will be packed with some great characters and gritty story lines. It’ll also bring a whole host of new names to the big screens, including Daniel Garcia as Keith and Oliver Fabian, who plays the pseudo bad guy of the film, Jay Frost.
