Video, not holiday. It's kind of a weird move on the part of Steve Coogan, but he has just been sponsored by Fosters to film a series of short shows featuring Alan Partridge.

With talk of an Alan Partridge movie in the pipeline, maybe the series is a tester or warm-up gig to help Coogan get back in character for the big cinematic comeback. Either way, it means we get more Partridge, so if it's half as funny as the "Stop getting bond wrong" clip above, it'll be brilliant.

The first episode of Mid Morning Matters was launched on the 5th November at http://www.fostersfunny.co.uk.

Steve Coogan will also be starring alongside Rob Brydon on The Trip, BBC2 later this year.
