Lots of the characters are available to play and they look pretty good on the little screen. The touch screen controls are responsive and the moves aren't too difficult to pull off with a bit of practice - the charge moves are the toughest especially the specials, like Dee-Jay’s Sobat Festival Ultra Combo.
The tournament option is the standard arcade mode. It puts you against 7 fighters to win the tournament. There's a dojo mode that provides training on different tactics and combo moves and there's free sparring to try out moves endlessly against an opponent that fights back, while the training room lets you pummel an unresponsive character indefinitely. However, the best option in the game is the versus mode where you can connect to a friend with Bluetooth and kick their ever loving adze.
5/5
