Street Fighter 4 apple app game
Literally the best 69p I've ever spent. The Street Fighter 4 Apple app game looks, sounds and plays just like every other brilliant Street Fighter game you've ever played, but the beauty is that it's on your iPhone or iPod Touch and it costs the princely sum of just 69p. Any iPhone that doesn't have this is just another telephone.

Lots of the characters are available to play and they look pretty good on the little screen. The touch screen controls are responsive and the moves aren't too difficult to pull off with a bit of practice - the charge moves are the toughest especially the specials, like Dee-Jay’s Sobat Festival Ultra Combo.

The tournament option is the standard arcade mode. It puts you against 7 fighters to win the tournament. There's a dojo mode that provides training on different tactics and combo moves and there's free sparring to try out moves endlessly against an opponent that fights back, while the training room lets you pummel an unresponsive character indefinitely. However, the best option in the game is the versus mode where you can connect to a friend with Bluetooth and kick their ever loving adze.

The Street Fighter 4 Apple app is about as must get as they come. It's fast, graphically impressive, addictive and as close to the brilliance of the Street Fighter series as you could hope for on a telephone. There are a few additional features to keep it alive, but getting to rip out a shoryuken whenever you want to, wherever you are is all you need to say about the SF4 game app.

5/5
