Back To the Future The Game PC release

Back to the Future the Game PC
Last year's Mac and PC download hit of the year has got to be the Back to the Future game and now it's getting a full PC CD Rom release later this year. For lovers of the original Back to the Future film series, it's one of the only opportunities to take charge of Marty McFly, which is brilliant in itself, but the game also presents a psuedo sequal to the films with the storyline picking up just after Back to the Future III.

The plot is simple, picking up six months after saving Doc from the wild west in III Marty finds out that he's only gone and managed to get himself into hot water again and disappeared. So starts the new adventure plunging Marty back to the prohibition era to pull of another daring rescue.

The game has also got bags of old school PC gaming class of Monkey Island proportions as you take Marty on an missions to rescue Doc. For more info, read our review of Back to the Future The Game.

It's set for a release on the 27th April 2012 it's also got the added delight of being just £14.99 with free delivery from Play.com, so on top of it being genius, it's also a bit of a bargain. With 3 episodes set in different times and locations, Back to the Future The Game is a slow whirlwind of an adventure with nostalgic fun and a great storyline that fits well with the old Back to the Future films.

The game will also be getting a release on the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii on the same date.
