One of my biggest music related regrets is that I still haven’t seen an Arcade Fire gig. Back in the dark days, before I managed to fluke a credit card out of the ruddy banks, I couldn’t really afford the price tag. Now with semi-crippled card in hand I managed to get myself in gear a little too late for the Reading & Leads Festivals they’re playing as a prelude to the rest of their UK tour.
However, luckily they’ve got six more UK live tour dates, so I just need to get myself in gear. However, after all the extra charges, it works out at around £36 per ticket, so I’m still mulling it over. Every time I listen to their new album, The Suburbs, I crack on the internet to buy the tickets, but then I see the £3.75 booking fee and £4.80 transaction cost on Ents 24 and I get all indignant and refuse to pay. Fumin’! Surely the £27.50 ticket price is high enough all by itself.
Anyways, that’s enough of my poor adze ranting. The full UK tour dates for 2010 are:
