Stella McCartney brings style to the London 2012 Olympics

English fashion designer and daughter of Sir Thumbsaloft, Stella McCartney, has been appointed the creative director of the British team’s outfits for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

She will oversee the creation of Team GB’s performance wear and village wear, which will be  supplied by sponsor Addidas, and worn by both Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

There will also be a range designed for the public to buy, so you’ll be able to find out whether or not you can rock the Olympic look as well as the athletes. When I was 7 I would have said that there was nothing cooler than an Addidas track suit.

The deal comes on the back of Stella McCartney’s existing joint venture sports clothing line with Addidas, which has led to a long term relationship between them since 2004.
