Another great new additions for Sonic Generations is a hover-board and skateboard for Sonic, which looks class. Weirdly, though, there are two Sonics (one for classic Sonic and one for modern Sonic), but that doesn't look like it adds or takes away anything much for the game.

Due for release on the 25th November 2011 at the same time as Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is released, it looks like Christmas 2011 will bring back some of the old Mario and Sonic rivalry of the 90s. Sonic Generations will be released on the PS3, XBox 360 and the Nintendo 3DS.

Sonic Generations
Back in the 90s Sonic and Mario battled it out for computer games character supremacy in the old school platform game side scroller. Now, twenty years after the release of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega is bringing the entire history of Sonic gaming back once again in Sonic Generations.

It's a hyper-speed, suped-up, 3D enhanced reincarnation of the same brilliant side scrolling action that made Sonic what he was. Sonic Generations comes equipped with all of Sonic's old moves and the ability to flip to 3D, front on gameplay gives Sonic a whole new experience to celebrate 20 years of brilliance.
