The Kissaway Trail SDP single review

If you’re missing the reverberating sounds of Arcade Fire then The Kissaway Trail’s new single SDP could be the short term fix. While it’s by no means a like for like or copycat, it’s definitely infused with the same anthemic heights and disillusioned lyrics that have made Arcade Fire what they are.

The Danish band are just about to release their second album, Sleep Mountain (released on 8th March 2010).

SDP is a well put together single that chimes a reality that few bands manage to achieve. Singing about subjects that mean something to them, they bring a fresh take on an established focus.

The single also comes with a darkened White Lies remix that adds even more shadowy tones to the single.

3.5/5
