RoTa at the Notting Hill Arts Club  – Rough Trade Afternoons lead the pack for post lunch, pre tea free gigs

Unless you normally eat before 8pm...

Rough Trade Shops' RoTa afternoons have been running for the last 7 years, and there’s no sign of them slowing their pace of “clockwork” free gig productions at the Notting Hill Arts Club on Saturday.

The fact that’s it’s free and in the afternoon (so it doesn’t mess with plans for a big night out) makes RoTa perfect for Saturday afternoons. I spent the day drinking in the sunsheeine at the park, followed by listening to the Tambourine’s and the Vinyl Stitches’ gigs for nicht. Leaving more than enough time to get to a party. Hooah.

Info about future afternoons are on the Notting Hill Arts Club website.

RoTa kicks off at 4pm every Saturday just down the road from the Notting Hill Gate tube stop. It isn’t massively obvious, but if you take a right and look out for the metal railing things outside then you should find it.
