If you’re a regular reader then you’ll know that I’m a big fan of the Lego Star Wars games, so the news that Lego Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars is about to hit the shelves is being met with big excitement here at Tuppence Magazine. While Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 didn’t quite hit the spot, the new Lego Star Wars game is bound to bring back the old fun of the last 2 in the series.

The trailer doesn’t really do it much justice with a voiceover guy that sounds like his main line of work is bingo caller down at the local working men’s club, but I reckon this will be another classic.
With all the films already covered it was hard to see where a new game could spring from, but luckily the animated TV series, The Clone Wars, came along to provide the storyline might to bring Lego and Star Wars back together once again. Though the game will be based on the stories in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it will also feature the characters from the whole Star Wars saga.
Released on Playstation PS3, Playstation PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PC on Feb 18th 2011, Lego Star Wars 3 will feature all of the brilliant moves from the previous games. However, expanded force abilities and new combat skills will give the game a little reinvention, combined with brand new features including battleground mobilisation, colossal bosses and multi-layered space battles.
In Lego Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars you’ll be able to do Lego like battle on a massive scale as either a Jedi Knight or a Seperatist. Lightsaber slicing, long distance force attacks and an upgraded level builder will make this a
long-life sprawler that’ll transport you into the action and keep you there for a long time. Maybe if I play it for long enough I’ll be able to make my dream of being able to use the force a reality. Hhemmmhhhh!!!
