One of the big new "game-changing" additions to the gameplay for Fifa 12 is the Player Impact Engine, which delivers close to real live physical reactions on the pitch, whether it's the way a ball bounces after pulling off a skill move or the way players collide in tackles. The engine is designed to make Fifa 12 the most realistic game in the series.

There's also a renewed focus on ball handling with the development Precision Dribbling for the game. It gives you much more control over your player's touch on the ball. You'll have a lot more options for manoeuvre in Fifa 12, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and moves with much more flexibility one on one.
Another new addition is the Tactical Defending feature that allows you to take positioning into account to give you more opportunities to put in blocks, tackles and interceptions. However, there's much more competition in Fifa 12 too, with an advanced Pro Player Intelligence CPU, making games even more realistic.
However, arguably the most impressive features have got to be the skills moves (see video above). With new scoop turn animations, elastico chops, Bergkamp flicks and fancy moves like the double around the world and the reverse toe bounce.
Fifa 12 was released on the 30th September and is available on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii (see below) and PSP, as well as having app versions too. The usual career modes, online modes and versus modes are included in the game.
