DC Comics The Ultimate Character Guide

DC Comics the Ultimate Character Guide
With comic book stories like Batman, Superman and the upcoming Green Lantern movie hitting the big screen in all their spandex wonder for a good few years now, most people know a little bit about their favourite characters. But if you want to be a proper comic book geek then you need to know your stats and that's where the DC Comics Character Character Guide comes in.

Filled with a full listing of DC Comics characters in all their encyclopaedic detail, it's packed with stats, abilities connections with other characters and images. With Marvel having so much success at the moment with the likes of Iron Man 2 and the highly anticipated Thor, it's only a matter of time before DC Comics strikes back with their own superhero might and with the final in the Batman trilogy due for release next year the question is which of their characters will be next for a big budget makeover.

In case you're not sure where the Marvel-DC Comics line stands in terms of heroes and villains, inside the DC Comics The Ultimate Character Guide you'll find Batman, along with Lex Luthor and his female equivalent Supergirl; Batman, Robin and all their nemesi, Wonder Woman (myths abound about a 2015 movie), The Green Lantern (not to be confused with Green Hornet), Aqua Man, The Flash and the Justice League as well as lesser known Hawkman, Green Arrow and Darkseid.

DC Comics The Ultimate Character Guide is out on the 1st June 2011 and like any encyclopaedia it's in alphabetical order, so next time the snotty kid that thinks he knows it all asks you who'd win in a fight between Martian Manhunter and General Zod, you'll have the answer quick as a flash (whatever, you love it). For anyone that doesn't get the encyclopaedia, you can just take a step backwards, take a deep breath and tell the little two faced twot-man to Zod off.
