The line-up for Derbyshire’s Indietracks 2012 has been announced and Veronica Falls are amongst the headline acts. Bringing indie pop and rock to the railway encrusted setting of the old Midland Railway museum in Butterley, Indietracks looks like it could have another great year in 2012.
Veronica Falls materialised at the end of 2011 with their dark indie pop, and the powerhouse single Come On Over. Their debut album, Veronica Falls, was an underground hit, highlighting the gulf between the mainstream tripe and genuinely good music.
They will be taking to the stage at the festival, which kicks off on the 6th July 2012 running throughout the weekend until the 8th. Tickets are on sale now at £60 for the entire weekend, although this doesn’t include accommodation, so remember to take that into account when your budgeting for the festival.
Other bands confirmed for Indietracks 2012 include Allo Darlin’, Tender Trap, Tigercats and The June Brides. More bands will more than likely be added to the roster over the next month or so, but either way the real fun at Indietracks is in the after party tents, so the likes of Veronica Falls is a bonus.
