Following on from their amazing self named album, Veronica Falls have announced a small number of additional UK gigs and tour dates for 2013 building on their early 2012 tour. The dates are a part of their European tour, which includes performances at the Off Festival in Poland on the 4th August 2013 and the Paredes De Coura, Porto, Portugal on the 15th August.
Having already played Primavera in Barcelona and Porto last year (31st May-2nd June 2012 & 7th-10th June 2012) they must be getting used to the Euro jet setting coach tour lifestyle. However, with just 3 upcoming gigs in the UK in 2013, tickets will probably be hard to come by, but they will undoubtedly be one of the cooler live performances of the year.
Veronica Falls previously featured in Rough Trade’s top 10 albums of 2011 and the 2013 gigs will give them a chance to relive the brilliance of their debut album. Come on Over has got to be one of the best tracks released in 2011 and will be a fan favourite in their live performances..
The band consists of Roxanne Clifford on guitar and vocals, James Hoare on guitar, Marion Herbain bass and Patrick Doyle on drums. Kicking at the 2013 Latitude Festival their starting the summer of live performances on a high. The gigs will blend the band’s depth, roughly cut polish and driving pace.
