Comedy Central comedy The Other Two had its UK release on E4 in spring 2019, bringing its hilarious music dreams and family fame with it. Having picked up a lot of rave reviews following its debut in the US, it’s already been picked up for a second series, so it’s definitely one to watch.
You can find out more about the show below and if you want to see any of The Other Two music videos ahead of the show binge, you can watch them at the bottom of the page. You can also get way way ahead of the curve and watch the opening episode of the series in the video below the music.
The Other Two UK release – air date
An official air date wasn’t confirmed by E4 as such, but the show has since had a very quiet UK release, so you may well have missed it. Channel 4 had only specified that it would be out “later in spring” and as it was already the end of April at the time of writing, and summer started in June, The Other Two clearly had its release in May as predicted. If you missed it too, don’t despair as you can watch series 1 in full over on E4 at www.channel4.com/programmes/the-other-two/episode-guide.
It came out in the US on Comedy Central in January 2019, so it’s still pretty new and if the UK debut goes well on E4 then series 2 might be released at the same time as in the US.

Music
The majority of The Other Two music is by ChaseDreams’, so you should expect to hear Marry U At Recess a lot as you watch the show. You can get a snapshot of what that sounds like with the music video below:
For anyone that caught the trailer (check it out below), you might have been expecting the song that features in it to make it into the show, maybe as the theme song. However, it turns out not to be the case. It was Apollo LTD’s On The Way Up and it was just used for the trailer, but you can take a listen to it in full below with it’s “I’m on the way” chorus line:
Watch The Other Two Episode 1 in the UK
Somehow, someway, Comedy Central has an unlisted version of The Other Two on its YouTube channel, so you can watch Episode 1 in full below to get a glimpse of what to expect.
If Episode 1 and the rave US reviews are anything to go by then The Other Two UK release on E4 this spring is going to be a big hit. The comedy is perfectly weighted and the situations behind each of the scenes are hilarious. The music adds to the comedy genius, but it’s the performances from the cast that really makes it.
