If you want to get your hands on the Boulder Breaker then you’re first going to need the Cobble Crusher location in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. It’s one of the items Fugo needs in Goron City to get back in the good books of master blacksmith, Rohan, and make one of TOTK’s heaviest-hitting weapons.
However, they don’t give you any clues about the Cobble Crusher location whatsoever and the only thing you can assume is that it’s got to be somewhere in Eldin. The problem is that it’s a pretty big area to cover and with no leads you’d need to do a lot of hunting around to stumble on it.

In general, the area that you need to aim for is Eldin Canyon, but again that’s pretty big, so we’ll take you through the finer details on the exact below.

Cobble Crusher location
The easiest location to get to for the Cobble Crusher in TotK is to the north of the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. If you check this on the map (image below) and follow it up as high as Goronbi Lake and then head west a little then you should spot it.
What you’re looking for is a gang of Silver Bokoblin following a Silver Boss Bokoblin in a wide open area. If you blast off from Eldin Skyview Tower and use the glider to make your way north with a slight westerly tilt then you should see them roaming around below.
AdvertisementIf you take out the scope you can see that the Silver Boss Bokoblin is carrying what looks like a fused Cobble Crusher. This will do the job, and talk you through turning it into a standalone weapon a little later on, but first you’re going to need to wrest it from it’s cold, dead hands.

How to get the Cobble Crusher from the Silver Boss Bokoblin
In case you don’t know, the silver versions of all enemies are the toughest to defeat in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, so having five of the hardest Bokoblins and the Silver Boss Bokoblin to beat is going to take a little planning. Put your best armor on, and cook up an attack up meal to start with and then use the glider to get some height.
From above, you can rain down some head shot Gibdo Bone arrows on the Silver Boss, which will do a lot of damage. There’s obviously a million and one different ways you can fight in TotK, but we’re trying to cover things you’re likely to have at this stage. If you don’t have Gibdo Bone from Gerudo yet then you can use Bomb Flowers or Fire Keese Eyeballs.
When you land, you can hit them with some Muddle Bud arrows to make them start fighting among themselves. This means that you’ll have less to face with melee combat. For this, you want your best Fuse weapon, so use strong base weapons fused with anything Lynel, Silver or Stalnox Horn.
If you order your items in the meny by Fuse attack power you’ll see what your options are, so you can go from there. Diamond or Dragon horn is another good option, or anything from the Light Dragon, which will heal you as you attack.
Bomb flowers on your shield will give you a quick launch back into the air and damage the monsters around you if you do a Shield Surf jump. Once you’re back in the air you can do way more arrow head shots to either whittle down the Silver Bokoblins or take down the Boss.

You can also throw out some Puffshroom arrows to keep you out of sight, so be able to deliver sneak attacks. You can also put one on your shield to get a similar effect when they hit it, so it can be a good way to create opportunities if you’re getting swamped.
This should be enough to defeat them and then you can collect the Cobble Crusher from the location where it fell. Although, it’s not quite a Cobble Crusher! If you check the details for the weapon it’s called a Stone Two-Handed Axe, which was a bit confusing to start with, because the Sensor+ had directed me to it.
How to turn the Stone Two-Handed Axe into a Cobble Crusher
AdvertisementIf you then take the weapon to Fugo, he’ll say that he can’t use it with something stuck on it, which might make you think you’re going to need to head out on a new search. The good news, though, is that there’s very easy way to separate a weapon from it’s fused item.
With this you can turn the Stone Two-Handed Axe into a Cobble Crusher to hand over to Fugo. To do this you need to go into the menu by pressing the + button and tabbing over to the weapons section.
Navigate down to the Stone Two-Handed Axe and press A to bring up your options. The third one down is destroy fused material, which will get rid of the stone element and leave you with just the Cobble Crusher.

Take this to Fugo with the other materials, diamond and flint and he’ll have everything that he needs to forge a Boulder Breaker for you. There can only be one Boulder Breaker, though, so you can’t stock up on them. However, you can return to Fugo once it breaks to get a new one forged.
You’ll need to get him another Cobble Crusher, along with the diamond and flint, so you’ll need to repeat the steps above when you need a replacement. However, it’s got a base attack power of 38, so if you fuse it with a Silver Lynel Saber Horn you can take it up to 93, which is huge.
