This Year’s Golden Globes Awards took a populist slant with blockbuster Avatar stealing the show in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s top choices. With mixed reviews for Ricky Gervais as the host, the 67th Golden Globes award ceremony favoured Disney animation Up over Karen O’s work on Where the Wild Things Are, as well as other animations like Fantastic Mr Fox. I don’t want to get all Kanye West on your azzes, but it’s Fantastic Mr Fox and Karen O.
Also, I’m not sure whether or not Guy Ritchie will be pleased or disappointed by Sherlock Holmes being in the Comedy or Musical section. However, they probably pulled it around with awards for John Lithgow and Christoph Waltz, and nada for Bono.
