Catchier than syphilis in an On the Road style trip to Mexico, The Death of You and Me is bound to set the media in a frenzy. The video is brilliant too, starting what looks like a modern day wild west story that will be continued with later singles.
Released officially on the 21st August 2011, The Death of You and Me will be the first single from the elder Gallagher brother’s new outfit, The High Flying Birds. Some people have slated the name, but The Death of You and Me sounds like it could be a No. 1 single in the making.
The self titled album has a release date of the 17th October 2011, and to be honest, it could be a single and album double header No 1. for the Birds.
