Shadow-Play Alley is one of our favourite stages in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, so getting the World 2-3 stars and stamps was a lot of fun. Both have a good amount of challenge with good hiding places for the stamp and a couple of the stars.
World 2-3 Stamp
The stamp for Shadow-Play Alley is in the shadow section under the area where you find the giant piranha plant. Use the cat claws to smash the blocks to the left, which will tunnel under the piranha plant to get the World 2-3 stamp.
- Just after the beginning, you’ll see the shadow of a star with two coins. Head towards the screen to walk down the corridor to get it
- After the section where Mario is a shadow with the giant piranha plant, you’ll go through a door and go back to normal. Just past here you’ll find a wall of pink block. Cat claw them to reveal a warp block. On the other side you’ll have a timer to press the switch. Do that and you’ll get a shadow for the second of the stars for World 2-3. Walk underneath to pick it up
- At the next door, ignore it and walk through the gap to the right. You’ll see Toad scared by the shadow of Bowser. Walk towards the screen to find a mechanical cardboard cutout of Marino’s enemy number 1. Walk in front of it and jump at it to knock it over and save Toad, who will give you the third of the stars
