What’s happened to Tom Cruise? That film he’s floggin in the ads recently on TV looks woeful. He used to to be cool! Anyway, enough of that, the good news is that Stereophonics have confirmed that they’ll be launching new album, Graffiti on the Train, next year.
Set for release on the 4th March 2013, Graffiti on the Train will be their eighth studio album release. Having been away in terms of new material since 2009’s Keep Calm and Carry on, the new album is bound to be a welcome return for British rock and Stereophics fans alike.
You will probably have already heard the first couple of tracks from the album with single releases for In a Moment (check out the video below) and Violins and Tambourines in November 2012. Both have been picking up a fair bit of radio play since their release and with a much darker sound than previous albums Graffiti on the Train could be a class reinvention for the band.
Stereophonics, Graffiti on the Train track list:
1. We Share the Same Sun
2. Graffiti on the Train
3. Indian Summer
4. Take Me
5. Catacomb
6. Roll the Dice
7. Violins and Tambourines
8. Been Caught Cheating
9. In a Moment
10. No-one’s Perfect
The album launch will also be accompanied by some new gigs for the band in 2013 and they’re a good shout for a headline stage takeover of some sort in the summer festival season, so 2013 should be a big year for Steroephonics.
