Right Arm Depot The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Right Arm Depot The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

If you’ve just started to take on the Construct Factory in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom then you’ll come up against the challenge of the Right Arm Depot. It’s one of four puzzle areas around the factory and what you’re trying to do is to recreate the big construct out front.

It’s entirely possible to get to the area without triggering the quest to activate it, so if that’s you, no amount of tips will help you to complete the Right Arm Depot. The quest is called Guidance from Ages Past and you get to it once you’ve completed all four of the temples.

In addition to this, you can also get to the Right Arm Depot as part of the quest and not be able to do it without activating the construct factory. We’ll start by covering how to activate the factory and the depot and then we’ll cover how to solve the puzzle and get the parts to the construct that you’re building.

How to get to the Right Arm Depot

You can see the location for the Right Arm Depot in the map image below, which will show you all of the depots surrounding the Construct Factory in TotK. You can see that it’s to the west of the factory and north of the Left Arm Depot if you’ve stumbled on that already.

Head west from the factory to get to it and you’ll need to climb up a little to get to the right level. You’ll find a path covered in Gloom leading up to it, so tread carefully to avoid losing any hearts to the effect and you’ll get to the entrance.

If you get to the Right Arm Depot and you get an angry red cross when you try to activate the terminal then you haven’t properly activated the head back at the Construct Factory. You need to carry the head of the construct down from where you first landed as part of the Guidance from Ages Past quest.

Once you get the head down to the factory, simply use Ultrahand to turn it to face back up the slope from where you arrived. Lift it up and place it into the slot for the head and this will trigger a scene with the voice once again telling you about the depots and bringing the parts from them to complete the construction.

Once you’ve got the factory activated you can now go to the Right Arm Depot and activate it too. Just follow the guide notes above for the location and look for the round Zonai switch, which you should be used to from the temples.

This will give you a block containing the parts, but it will also close the entrance to the depot and open one on the other side. You’ll then need to transport the parts through the depot to the door to be able to get it out and back to the construct in front of the factory.

To complete the Right Arm Depot in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the first thing that you need to do is to carry the parts block up the ramp to the right of the Zonai activation switch. It looks a bit like a conveyor belt, and it’s made up of a series of small wheel devices.

Carry the part up to the level with the massive electrified bridge between the gap between you and the exit. You need to get the part block over to the other side and you’ll be free to take it down to the Construct Factory below.

To do this, you need to transform the part into a mini car to ride across the electrified bridge. You can find the wheels in the broken sections of the conveyor belt system and then you just need to use Ultrahand to fit them to the part on each corner.

Make sure that they’re all the right way up and facing in the same direction unless it won’t actually work properly. If you’re not too sure how to make a car in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you can see it in the video below at 24:00, so hopefully that will help you get it working properly.

Once you’ve turned the part into a fully functioning car, you can then place it on the electrified bridge with one side overhanging the top corner to help keep it in place. Hit the nearest wheel with a spear, keeping enough distance away from the electricity to avoid taking damage, and that will see it drive across to the exit to the Right Arm Depot.

Jump and use the glider to make it to the other side, turn it off with another hit and carry it out of the door using Ultrahand. Position it to run down the hill to the left of the depot exit and search around to the right of the door for a control panel.

Fit this to the car and you can drive it down the hill, using the control panel to turn where needed. You can shoot Yunobu at the Boss Bokoblin and his posse on the way, but you don’t need to defeat them all. You can just keep on driving until you get to the Construct Factory.

When you get there, the part will break open and you can pick it up with Ultrahand to put it in place in the large construct that you’re making. That will see you completing the Right Arm Depot and you’ll be one step closer to completing The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom’s Guidance from Ages Past quest.
