Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart how to get past Juice to escape in Cordelion

There’s a really cool Alien vibe to Cordelion in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart with the section where you need to know how to get past Juice to escape the facility in the other dimension. The monster seems to be hunting you down, but none of your weapons have any impact on it, so it will just keep coming for you and there’s nothing you can do about it.

It’s a bit like a mini Mr X from Resident Evil 2, but with a little less to do along the way and not quite as much terror. The good news is that it turns out to be relatively easy to get past Juice. How to distract Juice

When you first find Juice properly, your first instinct is to unleash the power of your full arsenal of weapons. However, you’ll discover pretty quickly that it’s completely immune to them. You can turn it into a topiary plant for a very short period of time, but the Cordelion monster will shake off the effects too quickly to escape.

Instead, what you need to do is find one of the jelly containers and give it a whack with Ratchet’s ratchet. This will then spill out and Juice will stop to eat it, giving you enough time to escape following the objective marker on the map to step on the switch by the door to get out of the room.

Once you’re out of the room, the main job is to follow the cables to the switches. The first will take you into a room with a control panel to activate. There are some amoeboids to take out, but other than that you should be green lit. After you watch the video footage, Juice will bust through the door and you’ll need to run to follow the second of the cables, breaking a jelly container along the way to buy you a little time to trip the floor switch and get into the room.

How to escape from Juice when there are no jelly containers

You then get trapped in a room with Juice and need to turn a bolt crank to get out. However, it gets to you before you get much of a chance. To escape from this part, you need to use the rift tether at the other end of the room to draw it away.

Wait for it to get super close before tethering back to the bolt to turn it, while it slowly jumps across the platforms to follow. There should be more than enough time to turn the bolt, but you’ll probably need to repeat the tether trick to get more time to then escape the room and get to the new objective marker outside. This will then lead you to another switch and an underwater section and you’ll be free of Juice for a little while.

The final escape

When you finally get out of the underwater section, Juice will reappear, blocking your way to the crystal. To get past it without getting his, just use the dodge function, use your ratchet on the Blazon and you’ll be back in the other dimensional equivalent of Cordelion.
