Following on from 2011’s release of their critically acclaimed debut album 936 and the brilliant Hey Sparrow, Peaking Lights returned to the UK in 2012 with a small, but perfectly formed set of British tour dates.
Starting off at Field Day festival in London on the 2nd of June, the 6 date tour will see them doing four dates in June and two more in August. The gigs finish off on the 19th August 2012 at the Green Man Festival in sunny Wales.

The band is made up of husband and wife duo, Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis, who originally formed Peaking Lights in 2008. Hailing from Wisconsin, their blend of psych-pop and synth melodies is dreamy and hypnotic.
Peaking Lights went on to release a third album, Lucifer, in 2012. Stand-out track, Dream Beat, was another mini-hit for the band with a very cool video directed by Jordan Radaelli and Jason Miller as part of the Urban Outfitters video series. Lucifer was also re-recorded as a dub step album later in 2012.
