Kingdom Hearts 3 does a lot of things right, but one of the biggest conundrums in the game is where to find Kid Korral in the Toy Box toy shop. It takes place fairly close to the end of the world, but there are no prompts to follow and the information about its location is kind of open to interpretation, so you can easily find yourself running around desperately trying to find even the vaguest reference to Kid Korral in any of the signage around the toy shop.
The reality is that there’s no more information to go on, so you’d only be wasting your time, but the good news is that it’s incredibly close to where you start out for this section of the Toy Box world. Kid Korral location
When you’re told that you need to find a window in Kid Korral to continue the story with Woody, Buzz and team, you’ll be in the video games section up on the third floor. You then need to head out of this area and turn left towards the open window that you used previously next to the dolls house. However, this is NOT the window that you’re looking for and heading in will only see you searching that section relentlessly for something that just isn’t there. Worse still, you can find yourself going back into the air vents, which would be an even bigger time vortex.
Instead, what you should do is walk on past that area completely, dodge roll past any any Heartless or Gigas along the way, and make for the next section along, which is fully open at the front. It’s call blah and when you get into the department, you’ll trigger a little cutscene that mentions the open window to aim for and that’s how you know you’ve made it to the right location.
There are more enemies in there and while you can ignore them and make straight for the window that leads to the Kid Korral, it’s better to take them out, as you’ll have to face them later anyway. You can easily climb the wall with Sora’s anti-gravity skills and when you go through the window it’ll show you what you need to do next.
This will be the final run up to the Toy Box boss fight, so it’s a good idea to prepare a little before you complete the Kid Korral section. You’ll know you’ve made it to the last bit when you assemble the box wall leading up to the air vent high above. You’ll need to find three piles of boxes dotted around the area to get high enough to get to the vent and you use the Gigas levitation ability to move them into place.
