Turning the screw on the recent release of Jack White’s Blunderbuss, the Detroit City limits has crafted a genuinely mental new video for Freedom At 21. The track is one of the hairiest on the album and the new video goes some to back that up with surreal car chases, private dancers and jail time.
The style is a bit like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas meets Sin City, making it either Sin in Las Vegas, or Fear and Loathing in Sin City. Either way, it’s a bold out of the blue from the house that Jack built.
The song’s got heavy hooks and the kind of wild riff that music’s been missing for the last couple of years in between the end of the White Stripes and the resurgence of Jack White.
If MTV were still MTV, the Freedom At 21 video would play on loop.
