Gossard are getting ready for the hot hot heat with their new spring/summer collection for 2015 and it’s looking like an impressive year for the international lingerie designers. In addition to having some very cool looking new selections available, they’ve also managed to bring in the added impact of Olympia Valance, the 22-year-old younger sister of neighbours star Holly, as one of their main models for the range of underwear.
As you can see from the shots of Olympia above, it’s not just lingerie that’s included in the SS15 collection as there’s a fair amount of swimwear to choose from too. Both the black Sienna on the right and the the red Retro button design on the right are throwbacks to the past with former taking a lot from the high waisted style of the 1950s, while the latter feels like it could have been inspired by a magazine photoshoot from the 1980s.
The lingerie options are classic on the whole, with little in the way of more modern style embellishments like cutaways or sheer fabrics, but there are a lot of cute ranges to choose from. The neon pink bra and briefs set above is simple and effective, and the reality is that there’s a whole lot more in the rest of the spring summer collection to go for as you’ll see below.
Our favourite range is the Allure set, featured in the central image above. It’s got strong lines, a little lace and good attention to detail with a little sheer fabric here and there. As well as the shorts in the image, the set can be combined with a thong and it’s available in the coral pictured. The other two ranges are Irresistible on the left, which is available in the hot pink or black alternatives with both short and thong options, and the Superboost lace foil print on the right, which is available in the blush above and a deep Bordeaux.
The Gossard spring summer 2015 collection is pretty much complete now, but they are leaving a little room for the odd one or two surprises, so keep an eye out for their latest updates. They’ve landed with a very elegant selection of lingerie and retro swimwear already, so anything else they can do to add to this will be a bonus.
The new ranges add to a well rounded existing selection of lingerie from the British underwear company. One of the most versatile is the Exquisite range below, which has a good roster of items in its simple and chic black lace design, including the padded balcony bra, basque, brief and thong pictured below.
