The excitement is starting to build in the UK in the run up to the Euro 2016 tournament that will be dominating football during the summer. While Scotland didn’t make it through to the finals, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are all in the running, and the good news is that terrestrial coverage of Euro 2016 on TV is pretty impressive with both the BBC and ITV sharing the action.

BBC television coverage presenters and pundits
As ever, Gary Linekar will be heading up the BBC television coverage as the lead presenter and he’ll have both Alan Shearer and Thiery Henry along for what we’re hoping will turn out to be a classic European national cup competition. While all of them have featured in the tournament over the years, only Henry has won it, back in 2000, so his insight for the final should be pretty interesting.
BBC TV coverage will broadcast a total of 26 games during Euro 2016, which will include the huge home nations game between England and Wales in the group games on the 16th June 2016.
ITV are yet to announce their presenter and pundit team, so we’ll update as soon as they’ve confirmed who will be in the line-up.
