The 2012 Booker Prize long list has just been announced and it looks like it’s going to be a close contender for one of the most engaging lists of the last decade. The 2012 long list includes Skios, Michael Frayn’s story of island duplicity, Jeet Thayil Indian highs in Narcopolis, and Ned Beauman’s tale of missing lays.
