Veronica Falls gigs
Following on from their ace self named album, Veronica Falls have recently announced their UK gigs and tour dates for early 2012. The dates are a part of their big European tour, which culminates in performances at Primavera in Barcelona (31st May-2nd June 2012) and Porto (7th-10th June 2012). With just 8 gigs in the UK, tickets will probably be hard to come by, but they will undoubtedly be one of the best live performances of 2012.
Veronica Falls has already featured in Rough Trades top 10 albums of 2011 and the 2012 gigs will build on their critical acclaim. Come on Over has got to be one of the best tracks released in 2011.
The duo consist of Roxanne Clifford on guitar and vocals, James Hoare on guitar, Marion Herbain bass and Patrick Doyle on drums. Kicking off in sunny Norwich, the gigs will blend the band’s depth, roughly cut polish and driving pace.
