The Old Blue Last – Huw Stephens and Front Magazine rock up for March 2012
The Old Blue last is one of Shoreditch’s bastions. It’s a good venue with decent drinks and a good deal of room for manoeuvre, but as well as all that, it also has a pretty decent events listing and March is no exception.
It sees Huw Stephens taking over the joint to present a night alongside DZ Deathrays. The music will include DZ Deathrays live, as well as a gig from Run Walk. With a low stage in close proximity to the crowd, it’s always intimate and in your face.
As well as the might of the Welshman, The Old Blue Last will also feature a night by Front Magazine in March. It’s great to see big magazine’s like Front getting involved in grassroots music. They’re featuring DZ Deathrays too, as well as Hawk Eyes and Eager Teeth Live.

Keep an eye out for some of the secret shows that they gift their patrons every now and again. Previous shows have included No Age, Sleigh Bells and We Are Scientists.
