The Last Leg Series 4 set for Channel 4 in 2014

The Last Leg Series 4 starring Josh Widdicombe, Alex brooker and Adam HillsAdam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe have returned to Channel 4 this year (January 2014) with The Last Leg series 4, confirming once again the comedy might of the show that all started as a commentary piece for the 2012 London Paralympic Games. The three co-hosts return with more random chat, Is it OK? questions and stop being a d*ck rants to usher in the new year.

The fourth series started on Friday the 31st January 2014 at 10pm, and it’s once again made up of nine fifty minute shows of weekly review banter taking us up to the end of March and helping to bring a bit of mirth to the dark trudge of the winter months. With their usual line-up of great guests, which have previously included Idris Elba, Gabby Logan, Dara O’Briain and Eddy Izzard over the years, the show is a good shout for must-watch Friday night TV to help get through all of the nights in front of the telly you might have planned for February and March.

This time around, however, they don’t just have the standard weekly goings on to talk about as the show also ties in with the air dates of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games on BBC from early February 2014, so the trio will also be doing a bit of a round-up of what goes down in the Russian Caucasus Mountains during the big gay winter games. This will then be followed inevitably by their review of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games, which run from the 7th – 16th March 2014, putting the guys back in touch with the follow-up event that they first appeared together for.

The Last Leg Series 4 is once again being filmed in front of a live studio audience so there will be the possibility for mayhem again, with random Is it OK? questions and pitch invasion-like dance offs. There’s also the vague trace of competitiveness between Widdicombe, Hills and Brooker to look forward to as they all try to out-do each other with jokes and challenges.

However, perhaps the most exciting element to catch up on is Alex Brooker’s ongoing attempt to become a participant in the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. We’re not sure what to expect from this, but it could be anything from swimming to shot-put, but whatever it is, it’s bound to be hilarious, especially after his antics in The Jump.

If you want to get involved in the Is It OK? fun, you can Tweet your question to @TheLastLeg using #IsItOK. Ours is going to be, “Is It OK to pee in the snow at Sochi?”
