The Big Bang Theory Series 5
Coming back to E4 in October 2011 is The Big Bang Theory Series 5. The hit US sitcom has been consistently funny since day one, so a return to brilliance should be on the cards for the fifth series.
The brainy nerdlings have got a new doctor in the group with Walowitz’s Mrs, Bernadette, passing her PhD. However, the big storyline will inevitably be a toss up between the ongoing will they won’t they relationship of Leonard and Penny – although Raj’s sister Priya looks likely to get in the way of that – or the impending matrimonials of Howard and Bernadette.
Fans of the show will be keen to find out what happens next after the climactic end of Series 4, which featured the first signs of friction between Leonard and Priya, as well as the drunken “incident” between Raj and Penny.
The Big Bang Series 5 probably won’t see the thermo-nucleic implosion of the group of friends, despite the aftermath of the crazy night at the end of series 4. However, it definitely sounds as though it could be the most dramatically frenetic series to date.
