River Island gets experimental for women Spring Summer 2012

With all the crazy gypsy TV shows that are dogging the likes of Channel 4 these days it’s enough to make you want to adopt Jil Sander-esque minimalist white, black and grey. However, there are a number of items in the River Island spring and summer 2012 collection that prove that standing out can still look stylish.
This suit is brilliantly stand-out, but still super cool.
This is about as close as the line gets to a traveller’s life, but there’s just enough style to get by.
These high waisted shorts with the wedge platforms, socks and slightly outlandish shirt have got a roller disco feel to them. The shorts would look great with tights too.
Even though this shirt and trousers combo is all white, it’s still supremely unique.
