2013 Secret Garden Party line-up announced

Secret Garden Festival line-up 2013When the frost is still crunching at your feet and the dark nights are looming around short, sharp days, it’s good to have something planned for the softer skies of summer to keep your mind sane, which is why festival news is such a good distraction around this time of year. The latest announcement has come from the mystery men and women of The Secret Garden Party, with the first acts on the 2013 line up being released and new details on what other delights the festival has got planned for this year’s festivities.

Running from the 25th to the 28th July 2013, The Secret Garden Party has become well known for featuring undercurrent gems on their decorated stages, along with an array of wonders in the woods and fields in and around the festival. This year’s theme is superstition, so expect things to be psyched up and spooked out. See the festival site for a taster of what there is to look forward to.

First up on the grid is Django Django, who burst onto the music scene in 2012 with their self titled debut album. Their mix of pop, funk and jungle beats is entrancing so it’ll be interesting to hear how cool they sound on the big stage of the festival.

The Secret Garden Party headline act this year will be Belguike brother combo Soulwax, who will be casting out their electro-love into the night sky of the festival.

Here’s the full line-up for the festival as it stands, but there are plenty more bands still to be added.
